About Us

From her first dance class as a young child to performing on professional stages, Miss Laurin has a lifelong love for dance and musical theatre. As a child, she successfully auditioned for and trained with the Scottish Ballet Associates Programme, Ballet West Aspiring Professionals and PACE Youth Theatre. At 17 years old, she moved to London to study at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on their Foundation in Musical Theatre course. She completed her vocational training at London Studio Centre, graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance.

Miss Laurin has performed throughout the UK in venues ranging from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to London’s West End. Her favourite credits include Annie in Meet Me at the Dinah (Jazz Co Tour), Scaramouche in We Will Rock You and Holly in The Wedding Singer. She continues to perform in local productions and is currently in rehearsals to play Kathy Selden in Loudoun Musical Society’s Singin’ in the Rain.

Since returning to her Ayrshire home, Miss Laurin has focused on nurturing the next generation of performers through her work as a dance and musical theatre teacher. She holds a Diploma in Dance Education from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary) from the University of the West of Scotland.

Miss Lynne has been performing from a young age, earning a place at the Ian Tomlin Academy of Music at Napier University in 2006. On graduating, Miss Lynne pursued a career in teaching and community project deliver, utilising music as a tool to support and engage communities in the arts. 

From here, Miss Lynne spent time teaching and lecturing at the University of the Highlands and Islands before moving to Dubai in 2015, to teach voice. During her time in Dubai, Miss Lynne had the opportunity to deliver music workshops in both Thailand and Cambodia.  

Miss Lynne changed career path in 2017, however has continued to teach and perform locally.
